What’s Up For New Years?
I’m just wondering today if every other parent in the world is as lame as I am, or do any of you have cool plans for New Years?
Creative ways to party as a parent?
Tips for scoring the ‘good’ babysitter?
Let’s share, shall we? (Come on, I know you’re not actually working today…)

We’re lame on purpose. We’ve always had a joke in our family that NYE is “amateur night” which leads to way too many people drinking way too many strawberry daiquiris and champagne punches and then trying to drive themselves home. It’s become a tradition for us to stay home and have a nice meal together – safely. Happy New Year and thanks for sharing your writing!
I’m no parent – but don’t feel bad – I didn’t do a damn thing but work on editing cooking videos and the everydaycookin.com website – so I can be ready to launch next week. I know – lame, right…and now I’m on the train making my commute into work. Geesh – so exciting!!!
Happy New Year!
